Comments:

My family and I moved to Chicago, Il. in 1957. I was
married Nov. 7, 1957. My husband was in the Army.
He retired with 20 years service. (He served 2 years in
Vietnam). Being a military wife was very rewarding....
also there were a lot of sacrifices at times. This is what
FREEDOM is all about and why we live in the greatest
country in the world. We have been and still are blessed beyond words!
I have only fond and loving memories of my classmates
and teachers. The 50th Class Reunion was wonderful
and I pray we will get to have another one soon!

Most influential teacher

Mrs. Goldean Taylor

School Story:

I always enjoyed the school plays, the Harvest
Carnival, Beauty Revues, going to basket ball games,
etc. I recall so many funny moments with Jo Chism,
Ivy Lou Hilliard and Donald Williams being the ones to
bring laughter. I believe the funniest school event was
when Freshmen got initiated and to this day, I still
remember all that garb I had to wear, but it was fun.
I remember the Junior Prom was held at the Hut in
Dyersburg and the theme for it was "Hitch Your Wagon
to a Star". I loved school and cherish the friendships
that have spanned over 50 years!
